Rang them up the night before to see if they excepted high life diners club card and they said yes, but when i got there they wouldnt accept it because it was December, they said the person on the phone had made a mistake so they wouldnt take it, as i was on a date i wasnt going to argue to much, after that the service was ok but the food was ordinary. Nice trendy bar though and a nice pint of black sheep but dont think i will be eating there again.

Modern style bar in the centre of town. Visited here on a busy Friday night and found this to be a little quiet. there was a choice of lagers etc, and surprisingly a couple of real ales, though on this occasion, I tried the Wheat Beer and found this to be very pleasant.
The place is full of leather setees and good lighting which lends a casual, modern atmosphere.
Better than most bars of this style

Echo Dants comments, particularly like the layout of this pub. Liked the previous BRB incarnation and this presents a more civilised alternative to the nearby (Wetherspoons) Winter Gardens

Not a bad bar and restaurant - smart crowd age 18-40. Welcoming staff. Nice seating areas, decent selection of drinks.

Smart wine bar with an upstairs brasserie. Lots of leather sofas etc, its a very comfortable bar. Surprisingly it has two handpumps selling Black Sheep Bitter and Golden Sheep at a quite reasonable 2.60. The bitter is served through one of those new fangled illuminated handpumps. The bitter was pretty good but the Golden Sheep was a bit iffy to me, but as it was the first time Ive tried that beer it may not be the bars fault. Its a pleasant place to watch the hordes of tipsy girlies making their way to Wetherspoons or the clubs further down the road, without having to join them.
