Sadly have read in the Shropshire Star today that this dive will be re-opened by the bar chain "Bar Fever", so more of the same, just instead as part of a national bar chain! Still, there's always Montgomery's Tower, the Armoury and the Salopian Bar all nearby.

Called in yesterday to check out the refurbishment. The toilets have been painted and generally cleaned up. There�s new carpet all around the place apart from the �dance floor� of course which doesn�t seem to have had any attention. It�s also been newly wallpapered throughout. So what we now have is a newly wallpapered and carpeted chav ridden dump with clean toilets.

It was closed for refurbishment on Thursday. It has to be an improvement no matter what they're doing to it, even closing it would be a step upwards.

This is a desperate lager barn that specialises in live sport and chavs. Also has karaoke on at weekends and has a dancefloor (well a sort of sticky wooden area anyway). Needs a major refurbishment, especially the toilets. Has a quiz machine and a pool table. It's a dump!
