Good pub, cheap, good beer, good staff. Unfortunately doesn't do food, but there is a good curry place next door.

In my view one of the best pubs in Derby. Beer is always first class, bar staff are friendly and the guest beer is always interesting. Mostly patronised by locals it can be busy at weekends but is a good venue for a quiet weekday pint.

Well, I’ve heard of “quiet pubs” but this is ridiculous ! The place wasn’t empty by any means, with about half a dozen other customers, but it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop ! [ Or in my case, my tinnitus ] An old fashioned down at heel kind of boozer. Brews its own beer, which was really the only reason for my visit. There were only 3 beers available from 5 pumps, and only one was their own beer. This was St Andrews Ale – a boring golden ale.

6/10 – not as good as CAMRA seem to think it is !

Lovely friendly place which brews its own beer on the premises

Migght seem like gods waiting room to some, but hey theres no yobs, no pool table and no trouble.
After all I like to drink excellent ale no WEAR it.
Very well kept beer, admittedly ones pedigree but always two other hand pulls.

A good solid locals pub in Derby's Inner Western suburbs. Had a pint of their own stuff brewed on the prmesies and it was nice enough.

I can only judge on my one visit. A bit out the way to go for a choice of three beers, one of which is Pedigree. Have to agree with the "Gods waiting room" comment, nice beer garden tho!

Excellent local pub with ever changing range of guest ales. New brewhouse at rear has brewed two different beers so far, both of which were well received by the regulars and visiting "tickers".

Good camra pub, though it does seem like God's waiting room at times.

Great selection of beer, lovely beer garden for the warm summer's nights and a roaring fire in winter. Quiet jukebox. You can even take their beer into the nearby unlicensed Indian restaurant.

A fantastic pub, good mix of young and old (although mainly old), it feels like sitting in a pub circa 1988 when all sections of society went to the pub and I mean that in a positive way.

Excellent Pedigree and weekly changing guest beers, a 'proper' pub
