Only Good Beer Guide 2020 Entry in the immediate area - including the larger Stow on the Wold.

Its slightly off the tourist centre - but not far. Hence he reason I'd not found it before.

Gorgeous Honey Stone Building. Single roomed, setup mainly for dining. The drinker has not been forgotten - high stools at the bar and a comfy looking couple of leather sofas. Three real ales on - two locALE and a Titantic that wasn't Plum Porter. I had a perfect stroud brewery Fall - a smoky bitter. Little sample jars showed the colour and all three were a dark brown chestnut. Strange not to see more variety. £4

Friendly landlord and popular for food - so book if you are thinking of eating. many were turned away.

Enjoyed our swift visit here - welcome relief from the touristy honeypot of Bourton -on-the-water. Cosy interior, good range of beers

Visited here and ate in the bar tonight. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Good value real ales on sale, including Stroud and Wye Valley. Pub's an easy to walk to the centre of Bourton in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend and will endeavour to return.

Nice place at the quieter end of Bourton. Beers were all in tried and all good. There was Old Hooky, Wye Valley's Butty Bach and Stroud's Tom Long on handpull with Dark Star's American Pale and Burning Sky's Arise IPA on tap at the craft end of things. The nice young lady behind the bar was friendly. All in all, a good pub. Didn't get to try the food, but most of the people around me were eating and no-one seemed disappointed. Will try next time.

Well I can't review. They closed at 3pm as I tried to escape the tourists a little off the beaten track.

'Keggers can't be choosers' proclaimed the T-shirt of one punter and he'll have been happy with Old Hooky, a Hereford brewery offering and a lesser known beverage from Stroud on tap. We were too late for food, arriving just after 2 and the position of the pub away from the centre of this criminally overrun village would seem to support the opinion of an earlier commenter that this is the best Bourton has to offer.

Such a shame the Landlord has no concept of people skills.

Two beers from Stroud and a mild from Old Forge, all in excellent condition. Can be a bit disconcerting to walk in and find virtually every table reserved. The two chaps behind the bar are quite friendly.

By far THE best pub in B-o-t-w. Excellent Beer, Excellent food, what more do you want?

Pleasant enough bar with a friendly patron. Does come across as a little too touristy for a traditional alehouse. The Agatha's ale was a little insipid for my liking but the Wickwar Cotswold Way was very drinkable.

This is a popular place to eat, and not too expensive. There is a separate dining room but the main bar is also geared to dining there is no sitting at the bar here. However locals do drink here and the landlord keenly supports the discerning beer drinker. There is Agathas ale brewed especially for here by North Cotswold plus three other beers from small local breweries. Beer cheaper than some Borton pubs. Away from the most touristy part of Bourton. The pub sign is well-known feature.
