No. Quite simpy not worth the visit. Odious staff, standard gassy beers. Not good, at all.

Food, well, it's good, but damned expensive!

Not sure this counts as a pub (though the building once was...) but will review the bar, and the food incidentally.

The bar is perhaps 25% of the table space and is modern-kitsch in decor. This perhaps isn't quite hitting the look, but I'm at a loss to describe better. Sort of how your dad's trendy early 70's boss might have done his dining room or lounge. Comfy enough. Open areas and a corner to get lost in. Drinks: couple of draught lagers, and my favourite, Hoegaarden. Good wine list, available by glass and bottle. Service friendly and precise.

Food varies from pizza (all organic or similar ingredients) to varying stuff but usally has steak, burgers, some interesting fish. In general been very happy with all the food I've ordered - but it's not pub prices.

Robert, we're still waiting!!!! To be honest, we are past caring about this place. If the basics like manners and courtesy aren't there, what other hope is there?

We were also at this party. It is such a pity that they messed up the food order, as what did appear was lovely. Come on guys, sort yourselves out and start admitting to your mistakes.

Oh dear. How things can change. The food is still good, but there are other issues here. My partner and I held a party here last week, Saturday 13th December. Despite the food being ordered 4 weeks in advance, they managed to get things wrong. Jaime did his best to remedy the problems, but his business partner who caused the problems did his best to avoid us all night. Sadly, as a result of his bad manners (for that is what it is) we shall not be going back here. All it would have taken was for him to have the integrity to admit his mistakes, but sadly, he didn't.
We have now taken our custom (and that of our friends) elsewhere.

Robert, you have our number and you know who we are!

Went there on a Saturday night and the bar area was fairly quiet. It's a fairly modern, trendy looking place with a restaurant area in the back. I had food there and have to say that the menu was very good as was the food itself, although not quite as good as at the actual Yellow House restaurant, which is also in Surrey Quays (Plough Lane).
Doubt I'd ever go there just for drinks though, especially now it's much harder to get to with the tube closure, as mentioned below.

Granted, the Yellow House is mostly food based, but the bar is very nice. Service is smooth and efficient. The restaurant is lovely. The guys who run the place are incredibly knowledgeable about their food. Much nicer than the other bars in the area.

More restaurant than pub really, the food's excellent but it's not really feel the kind of boozer you could sit in for a few hours. Maybe not the best business plan to open it while the tube station's shut either..
