Recently taken over by Keltek Brewery a local Cornish Brewer with a good choice of real ales. Excellent new menu changed regularly.
Outside of Pub referbished with new roof and paintworw etc inside renovated and altered appearance comes highly recomended.
Child and pet friendly

Have visited this pub twice in the last week as the food was good value for money, tasty and we received a polite, warm and friendly welcome each time. Food served promptly, relaxing music, lovely staff, clean and tidy. Well worth a visit!!!

I would seriously stay away from this pub.
Visited whilst on holiday and would not recommend it to anyone.
Landlord was rude and grumpy.
Food poor - my 8 year son could have done better.

The only good thing I could say would be the mash potato didn't have any lumps!!!!!!!

Lovely pub when i went in about 9pm midweek there was only the guy behind the bar(landlord?) and one local, neither made an attempt to chat and even though the pubs nice and the beer well kept a misrable visit

What a lovely clean tidy pub this is, with a friendly landlord who was willing to chat about his beers. Two real ales on and I enjoyed a couple of Bays Breakers before heading back to Truro on the bus. Well deserves its place in the GBG.

A nice quiet pub in this small village off the A30. They have a good selection of changing beers here, with St Austell St Piran's Ale and Sharps Own on during our visit. I just hate those new lightbulbs though. They are far too harsh on the eye. This isn't the fault of this pub in particular, but I did notice it far more than usual here.

A nice traditional free house pub we used whilst staying in Cornwall. Two hand pumps were in use on our visit Stonehenge Pigswill and Exmoor Ale. The landlord misheard my order and presented me with a fizzy pint of export. Once I noticed and queried it he immediately changed it. The previously available pump clips are on display. A number of Laurel and Hardy figures are around the area where the piano sits. A reasonable food menu was on offer however we did not eat here. The landlord noticed my GBG as we left and I think he thought I was reporting back. I did like the pub and have recently got the pub added to BITE.
