please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Excellent beer, great breakfasts on Saturday mornings and good quality no nonsense meals in evenings (by that I don't mean cheap and tasteless by the way). Beer range is excellent and quality top notch. Gilly and Alita (and Monty the pub dog) are the perfect hosts.

Good beer and in Gilly there's a great character as landlord.

A decent pub with real ale on offer. Went to the St. George's Day Beer Festival held there last year & admired the impressive views of the city while sampling quality beers.
I recommend anyone to visit the pub if they're in the area.

It's a short & pleasant downhill stroll from a reasonably quiet suburban area & you're back in the city centre surprising quickly!
