please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

There is an Enterprise Inns sign on the outside wall - so I was expecting a good choice of real ale inside. Wrong!
Wadworth 6X, okay a good start, then 3 pumps all with Adnams Bitter, and that's it.
The glasses need a damn good wash, unless you like a lot of fingerprints and grease on them.
My intention was to eat but found a packet of crisps was the best value.
Very disappointed in Enterprise Inns - if it still is.

Friendly and efficient landlady, well kept beers albeit not too much choice (usually Adnams and Wherry of late). Food very decent but as stated not the cheapest (note to Mrs Donkers - the prices were on the menus last time I looked!). Picturesque pub with pleasant garden for the warmer months. Well worth a visit.

Seven of us visited the Parrot couple of weeks back food excellent and Adnams very good as always, we'll be back in August...

As previous poster stated, food is pricey for what it is, but they trade on the location being a few miles from anywhere else decent (Aldebrough).
Beer v. good though, and well kept. A nice place for a drink.

ok further to the last - returned for a meal - starter and main course (plus childs meal), two small glasses of wine, two pints of beer and an apple juice - came to 62.00 - I was taken aback and certainly didnt consider the food that good at all - just bog standard pub grub - won't be eating there again

Popped in for an early evening snifter prior to putting the 4yr old to bed. Beautiful quirky pub on a variety of levels, a good choice of beverages, the food looked very good (we intend to return to sample said food). Outside several seating areas as well as a large play/climbing area for children. Very very nice - better than we remembered some years ago.

I visited this pub last week, the Adnams bitter was the best that I have tasted in quite a while

Visited the Parrot during August, very busy, excellent food and very well kept pint of Adams. The Staff were friendly and attentive. We will be visiting again shortly.
