Visited this pub on 22nd March with Ramblers. Very friendly and welcoming. No food at that time but landlord put out nuts and cheese. Told us they should have a menu available soon.

New manager in pub now. Friendly welcoming atmosphere, live music, darts team. Proper drinkers pub. Lovely!

An utterly drab, lifeless shit hole of a place. Completely bereft of any hope, we left this pub before the gates of hell were closed and the demonic landlady boarded up the door for the night. Doombar was the only drink on tap, which is possibly not true at all, however who cares.

A warm & friendly welcome awaits you from the landlady & staff, good choice of ales etc & good food on the menu, well worth a visit.

I have been to the Railway afew times and every time i am greeted with a smile!. The beer is good and the conversation if never boring!. Food is fantastic. not a bad word to say about it.

Poor real ale choices - the Green King IPA tasted keggy. Expensive round too.
