Felt that after this made B.I.T.E. random pub of the day should have a visit. Had been put off by the locals and reviews on this site. Not as bad as I thought it would be although I only had the Guiness. It felt like a pub where the guiness would be good. The atmosphere was a lot more relaxed than I was expecting. The were 5 or 6 people just doing the own thing. I'm glad the pub was better than I felt as it was me who placed it on the site.

A pub for locals. The are far better pubs nesr buy if you want a better drink.

So local it should be re-named the Royston Vasey! Yes they do all stare when you walk in. (Hmmm...perhaps even the Slaughtered Lamb?) Locals...if you are reading this-We mean no harm-we bring peace to your village!
