The type of place failed failed X-Factor contestants would consider "current". Satan surfing the Thames with a fez wearing chimp on his back would stand a better chance of finding a decent beer in the house.

I like this place. The service is a bit slow but when most people are ordering cocktails then what do you expect. The deals they have on drinks are good and the place is nice and relaxing. It's great for a a couple of drinks after work on a Friday!

Looks like they've given up on the idea of selling ale on the evidence of my last two forays into the place.

This place is ghastly. It's your typical trendy bar, with nothing to differentiate it from the millions of other trendy bars. The clientele are all exactly the same as each other (typical trendy fashion victims) they could all be clones.

More slow than Stephen Hawking with a flat battery in his chair. Both my ales (Pride and Brakspears) were poor, flat and had a head so big that you could put a Flake in and call it a 99. Barmaid seemed perplexed by request for a top-up. Guess what, sparklers on the pump. *Sigh* Not a place for ale drinking.

Still, this is mainly a cocktail bar and the cocktails were made from fresh commendable, but do you really have to squish raspberries through a little sieve into the glass each time you make one? Couldnt they be squished in bulk at 4pm and kept in a Tupperware box in the fridge?

Thats why it takes so long to get served

Nice place to go on a friday lunch, 6 for a baguette, chips, salad and a glass of wine. After work they also so a bottle of wine for 7.50.

The service is a little slow but even slower if you order a coctail. Nice place though, i go every week.
