Went to this pub with my wife, two friends and our dog. Was told they accepted dogs but only in the conservatory. On the way to the said area, my wife was trying to choose her drink, but was told curtly to get the dog in the conservatory. Neither the bar staff or the pub were welcoming!!

Went in a few saturdays ago had some good grub and drink, well enjoyed! Had a ladie singing that night and she was brilliant. Lots of room to sit where ever you want, will have to take a trip back in the summer to enjoy the beer garden!

Classic pre-war 'Brewer's Tudor' pub, with a really comfortable, lived in feel. The Robinson's beers appeared to be in fine nick when we were there, and the food was good value. Big garden outside if the weather's ever fine enough to use it.

Was working near here and ensured that we knocked off early on the final day of the job so we could have a pint here. Truly impressive from the exterior with the biggest thatched roof I've ever seen and the interior is curious and full of beams and brass and little cubby holes. Beer was of good quality if not the largest variety. Would go back if I'm in the area again certainly
