Seaside pub overlooking the dunes of Holywell Bay. The interior felt more like a restaurant. We chose to sit in the outdoor courtyard, which bizarrely had some astroturf laid. Plenty of walkers and surfers were coming and going. The ale range was a little disappointing - Atlantic & Tribute.

Excellent drop of Tribute and a very pleasant lunch. My fish and chips was superb. The lunch menu is not as extensive as the evening one but we all found something we enjoyed. Interior a little dark but on the hot sunny day of our visit it was most welcome.

This pub has a great location backing onto the dunes behind Holywell beach. It's not the sort of pub you would visit for a serious ale session in the summer, as it's rightly
popular with the holiday visitors. It's not far out of Newquay and very easy to find. There is a large patio with tables to the rear, a great place to sit out on a summer's evening. The staff are
friendly and helpful. Children welcome. They had Tribute and Proper Job on handpump. The Tribute was the best I'd had on our visit to Cornwall. The menu is traditional pub Food. There are a limited number of Main Courses but a good variety. We tried three separate dishes between us. They were all well cooked and full of flavour. The desserts are expensive but very yummy!

A lovely pub in an ideal location, just a short walk from the beach. Doom Bar, Proper Job and Tribute were all well kept by the landlord and well enjoyed by me. Carlsberg is available and so was some cider but I didn't risk it.
There are four rooms and a big garden and the food is pleasant enough.
Children and dogs welcome if you have either or both (or neither for that matter).

Excellent pub, gets very busy in the summer. Beer very good (3 real ales) and the menu is extensive (food looked very nice). Highly recommended and a Camra beer guide listed pub.
