Still mostly old people having a cheap lunch special. Nice beer - Real Ales (Landlord we had) is spot on. They do take away fish and chips too, but we had a nice Thai Green Chicken Curry while there.

Traditional old road house type of pub with an excellent reputation for food. Good wine list as well - available by the glass. It's now a regular drop in for us - dinner and a pint or two of Landlord is a pleasant and not too expensive evening out. Recommended.

More of a restaurant than a pub really. I've been in quite a few times for food while visiting relatives and I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone in the main bar who is just drinking. There is a pool room at the back that is a bit seedier than the main bar and does often have a few people drinking and playing pool.

The bar staff are friendly and the service is good. Eaten several times and have no complaints about the food, a good mix of traditional pub fare and some more imaginative specials, as well as some Thai food.

Agree that there is a slightly older demographic than might be expected!

Been in The Half Moon couple of times recently (while The Triton is closed) and the Timothy taylor landlord has been very good. Nice and cool, fresh taste. Even had clean glasses!
It is a bit quiet though and not my kind of pub - I must be too young as all the old people look at me a bit strange (nothing new there then!). Toilets always nice and clean too.
