The pub has changed hands and food is still very good but beer range not so good. Usually Black Sheep and a national guest. Will not stock local micro products

Have not tried the food so cant comment on that. Unfortunately on a recent visit real ales were poor including Black Sheep and Robinsons Dizzy Blonde. Hope that was a one off as pub is popular with locals

Smashing little find, proper pub food, great beer and wonderfull service.
Can not believe I have lived in Northallerton all my life and never visited this wonderful pub.

Lovely village pub with excellent food and good,cheerful service. Very welcoming.

great little pub with a large resturaunt out back,small selection of real ales but you can tell they know how to look after there ales,food was fantastic cooked to peferction,staff friendly and very efficient well worth a visit. we ate on a wensday night were ther currently running a steak night.nice little find will be calling again

I went with my partner and two children 13 and 1 years old. The food was fantastic, staff were very friendly and I would highly recommend a visit.

I went and had great beer and cracking food, very friendly . Worth a visit.
