Livingstone Arms, Gillinghamback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
I have used this pub over a number of years before seeing my side play at Gillingham.
Although after visiting this pub on the 13th of February I will not again as it has gone down hill very badly and the only positive comment I could make is it's display of shirts.
There are various televisions of different shapes and sizes but none where turned on and then one it was it was for a member of the bar staff to look at as he stood directly in front of it blocking any customers view. It was also a foreign channel which was a bit odd.
The bar staff and in particular the land lady could do with going on a course for customer relations as there attitude was very rude and unwelcoming.
On my next visit for a match here I will leave home earlier and walk into a town to find a better pub.

Popped in this afternoon before the match. This is a very good football pub; footy memorabilia adorns the wals (and ceiling), numerous screens show games on Sky and the bar staff are supremely organised and work well as a team to serve the thirsty hoardes in the run-up to kick off. I've been here a couple of times and would rate it one of the best football pubs I've come across.
They also have an excellent jukebox, which deserves a mention.
The downside is that there is no ale and everyone gets plastic glasses (on match day at least).
I'd recommend this for any away fan looking for a pre-match pint in a decent, friendly environment.

All keg pub with loud music and Friends on 2 TV screens all on at the same time. One long curving corridor room with a pool table at the far right. Gills shirts on the ceiling. Rough and ready feel to the place, but far from hostile. Barmaid was quite welcoming.

Visited on Boxing Day when the mighty Orient were in town. I'd heard that this was a good place for away supporters and it certainly is. As others have said, it looks like it could do with a lick of paint, both inside and out but hey, it's a football pub, what do you want ?
The place was absolutely rammed when I got there but I had no trouble being served by the friendly and efficient staff. Beer was good, apart from being served in football friendly plastic "glasses" and they had no less than 3 lunchtime Premiership games on the numerous screens around the bar.
left about 10 minutes before kick off and was in the ground 2 minutes later.
The only downside was that the not-so-mighty O's lost to a dodgy last minute penalty. hey -ho !

Rough and ready looking from the outside and even more so once entered. The Livingstone Arms is a pub I have bypassed for years, not thinking as to why I�d ever pay a visit. However, yesterday (Nov 28th) was the day I decided to change all that. It�s defiantly a pub for the locals, but I was made to feel welcome and the footy shirt pinned to the ceiling is a great touch. The Gills memorabilia on the walls means it�s proud to follow the local team and if the review below this one is correct, it could very well be well be the best pub for away supporters. The two German Shepard�s behind the bar would see to any mischief!

Superb pub, very welcoming and puts on free food for away fans. Seems to copes with large crowds well, obviously well drilled with this being so close to Priestfield and the designated "away fans' pub". Can't recommend it highly enough.
