Quiet local that we stumbled across on the way home, and due to the private brewery the ale didn't just taste good, it was dirt cheap! Well worth a stop.

Cant believe some of these comments, if you find it tricky getting into the car park you shouldnt be on the road.
Its a great warm welcome country pub with great ales and a VERY welcoming and obliging management

A great busy locals pub with some decent beer. Friendly place though getting in the car park can be a bit tricky!

The best pint in the Holmevally by far.I have lived all around the UK and Europe and the beer in this pub is up there with the best. Having said that it has to be as the locals won't drink rubbish.

I seem to remember it being a little bit rough around the edges but perfectly acceptable for a quick pint.
