A Whitbread pub (or at least that is what it says on the pub sign outside) but no Whitbread beers inside.
Tribute, Rev James, Doombar and Atlantic.
Caters mainly for food, served all day.

seems a little busier in the bar now the hotel is open, but the staff still dont have customer service as there no.1 priority. beer ringwood best and london pride, but one or both can be off seemingly randomly, hint: leave, turn right, vist first pub on left.

Brilliant WiFi, the only reason I come in.
Staff uninterested, generally unsmiling. I THINK THEY ARE UNDERSTAFFED: literally took ten minutes to get a single pint last week, they were so busy in the restaurant. Meals OK, just, used to be a favourite haunt a few years ago.
So involved with themselves, no interest in the customers or the impressions they create. As I sit here chef has arrived in the bar, obviously bored, swinging his cap around his head and ruffling his hair. Now yawning, rubbing eyes, talking loudly about the boredom, though two other customers have walked in.
Not eating here. Off to The Galleon, though they don't open for an hour.

Our party of five visited the Globe in Highcliffe two weeks ago, for a meal, I can say with certainty we will NOT BE RETURNING.
The SERVICE was SLOW.
The FOOD was only SO-SO. A FORGEN OBJECT (a large piece of SHARP PLASTIC) was found in the FOOD.
The DRINKS order was MESSED up. and the DRINKS were well OVERPRICED.
We spoke to the under manager, who seemed to make excuses, we are waiting for the outcome.
On visiting the W.Cs. I found A DIRTY SOCK, in the cubicle, and what looked like excrement on the walls.
It didnt look, or smell like the Gents had been cleaned, or checked, for some time.
All in all, not a good visit.

Use to be a pub, but yet again another one that is just an eating house. Had food of the microwaved variety and beer overpriced.

My wife and I stopped going here about 2 yrs ago because of poor service / food. I dropped in with a mate last Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet but it took a very long time to get served and then male bar staff was completely indifferent and very unwelcoming - seemed to begrudge serving us. Tw@@ts had taken over bar area and were intimidating customers going to the toilet with underhand and big mouthed comments - this shouldn't have been allowed to happen, esp. mid afternoon. I was checking it out in view of another visit for eats etc with wife, but shan't bother again, a very uncomfortable visit indeed.

Had a great lunch here in August. Food was fresh and tasty and portion sizes OK. Now part of the Table Table chain I was quite impressed. Staff went out of their way to help. Inside was a little chilly (air con) but that might just have been in comparison to the warmth outside.

Well, I went to the Globe Inn on Sunday and I was really disappointed with the level of service I got. The reason why I say this is because we went in at 3.45pm and didn't leave to 6.20pm, as the staff was to busy looking at their text messages on their mobile phones and not bothering about their customers who needed serving.

Back in May Gareth (manager) said it was very quiet and not meeting Whitbread targets, which you can understand the reason why??

Well, the Globe Inn manager was really helpful to us and couldn't do more for us. I look forward to visiting it again soon

Now a table/table has Ringwood Best and Fullers London Pride. Well kept. Staff on the young side, seem to be attentive.
A Travelodge Hotel has planning permision at the rear, will be good to get some more customers in Highcliffe.

Lunch time, quiet, group of four for food and drink: waiting staff took ages to notice our arrival and food arrived an hour after. Drinks order - wrong. Pudding never turned up. On the plus side - apologies and free food bill. Disappointed as was a birthday treat.

It's a brewers fayre!!! Food is up to the usual standard????? If you want a laugh go on a Monday night for the pub quiz. A bit disorganised but you can only laugh. Beer is the usual whitbread prices.

Nice and clean but a bit lacking in atmosphere.
