Had a lovely romantic meal here with hubby. Also love that it's child friendly for lunchtimes with our toddler. A tad expensive but good quality and good service, good range on the menu of local food and elegant but cosy decor. Would recommend and always high on the list for somewhere to go out for food locally.

not really a pub anymore, a restaurant with high hopes. we visted a couple of weeks ago, poor value for money, waited ages and had to site next to a very smelly chimney. staff were attentive but at the quality and cost i wont go back. if im going to spend that money i would rather visit tylney hall or go to london

Heard alot about pub so decided to have a night out, food was ok, very slow coming out and expensive, service wasnt very good, no-one checked on us the entire way through the meal. Overall was ok but wont be going back.

The cricketers has just been sold and will soon have a former Marco Pierre White chef in the kitchen. I hope it could be a nice place to eat and drink we will see

Recently refurbished, friendly bar and restaurant. Easy to get a seat, food good if slightly pricey.
