I am reviewing the slug and lettuce.
Good product range(in theory) - both food and liquor..... and cleaner than Casa too. I went for lunch yesterday and was disappointed - poor and non availability of menu items and poor attentiveness of staff - I may not look like a beautiful young thing any more but, DON'T IGNORE ME WHEN I TRY AND ORDER FOOD.

The LONG overdue refurb is set to happen at the end of this month (although closing during the summer months is surely a bit of a waste of money for them?)
It is to become the new "Slug and Lettuce", the current one is to be re-branded as "Label"
Be interesting to see if it does well....

Yes, bar flies are a problem here. Open the windows and let the Swallows fly in - they love flying insects for breakfast.

it also has loads of flies in the bar..... the staff and management are rude and useless...

yeah its rubbish dirty and there are holes in the couches.. rubbish

Even though this pub now needs a bit of money spending on it, it still is probably the best place to spend a Saturday afternoon. Never any trouble in there and always decent people.

For a chain bar not too bad. When it first came along, Bournemouth was crying out for a place like this. Now it is full of them and it has suffered a bit as a result. Good place to start the night and half-decent food
