Just the same as always. Good hot meals pub grub style, nothing fancy with a superb free salad bar, fair prices and good service. Sometimes when its crowded you may have to wait a few minutes but otherwise no probs. As mentioned before yes the staff are young but I have always found them extremely polite and eager to please. Whoever trains them is still on the ball.

I have never had problems or been disapointed here. Food is cheap, hot and although the menu is not extensive the superb free salad bar makes up for it. This is not a drinkers pub but a place to meet family or friends for a meal. 9/10 for me.

a great experience for all, friendly staff, excellent food and leaves you with a desire to return again and again.
we have never been disapointed and are always surprised at the level of service at the nags head! well worth a trip to try for yourselves

I would describe this place as appalling except it was not that good. TERRIBLE service with very long waits. Waiting for a table but friends/acquaintances of the staff go to front of queue. You will be at the bar a long time while a succession of friends are all served first....yes you stand there while they keep coming with bar staff who say 'actually they were first'.
Just be VERY glad that it's not your local

Nice food I have to say, but AWFUL service. Myself and my son ordered a meal and was kept waiting around by young staff that were too busy chatting to care, I actually had to go ask where our drinks were. Then after paying for the meal we tipped the waitress who didnt even say thank you, then asked for a taxi, we gave them the number of the particular taxi company we use, they called a totally different company (there are reasons why we didnt want A2B taxi's) I explained why they said they werent allowed to call any taxi. I asked to speak with the mananger who eventually agreed to call the company we had specified, then we had a 15 min wait. Silly kids trying but failing to run a decent pub/resturaunt as ALL the pubs in this area. Outragious when people are paying their money on their wages, for poor servive. What a shame, had the makings of a nice pub. Wouldnt return.

nice pub, but to much emphasis on food, which never seems to be full. pool table etc typical harvester type pub (shame)
