I remember this one in the 80's when I moved over this way..used to have a collection of plates stuck all over the place and a fireplace you could almost sit in lol. Not a bad place for quite pint afternoons. Few real ales. Good luck to em

judging by the amount of 'trouble' you've managed to get into in various dunstable/houghton pubs, perhaps you are the problem mr goat, sir?

rubbish pub, rubbish bar staff, very rude and have no care for anyone apart from tehmselves.

popped in a couple of sundays ago en route to dunstable with a few friends, wasnt expecting much to be honest but pleasantly surprised. free 'sunday dinner' type nibbles brought to our table as soon we sat down, lager tasted good (from memory �2.50 for a carlsberg) and although we got a few looks from the regulars - which you tend to expect in such pubs - no bother at all.

A pub with history, but no a lot on display. Opposite the village church, handy for a stiff one before the wedding service .
