We may well see it all change, what with Mr Carr and his enterprises going into receivership.
The last time I went in here, the food was mostly off the menu and the staff were all unsure of their future.

This place is the ultimate in bad taste with a chav-type clientele to match. On Friday and Saturday nights, takes up most of the local Constabulary's resources as the fighting chavs spill out onto the street. Why can't Richard Carr confine his characterless tacky bars to Bournemouth where they belong?

Visited here on a girlie weekend from Kent, on route to the Mint club. We stayed only for one as was so rammed we thought we would either get crushed to death or beaten up - say no more. Bit Chavsville for my liking.

Escaped to Mint and had the best night!

Looks to be reopening as an 'Aussie Bar' - named Outback, there was a lot of refitting going on when I walked past the other day, still a Carr Bar though

Would appear to have closed down completely now, another Carr bar bites the dust, I for one wont be missing it.

Appears to be closed on Tuesday nights in the Winter. Not sure if the beer comes directly from the fish tank, but then its not trying to be a traditional pub and seems to be an attempt to mimick the disco bars in Bournemouth. Not convinced that's needed on Poole Quay.

I know Oysterquay has been there for a couple of years now, but i decided to give it a try instead of bournemouth, what a great night I had. nice style bar, busy but not to busy, quick service. If the quay front get a few more bars like these bournemouth had better watch out.

A bright glass and metal dance pub designed to cram in as many young people 18-25 as possible. Soulless and is utterly out of place on Poole Quay. Unpleasant.

great place to spend your lunch time, sat on the quay in the sun.
or dance the night away on the large dance floor, drinks cost a bit but always a good night out

not if you don't fancy spending half you beer money on getting there and back,18 quid each way poole to bournemouth.this is the biggest and best bar in poole.about time

Bournemouth pub in Poole, amid traditional pubs. If you want to go to a Bournemouth pub, where are you going to go? Bournemouth! Oversized, bland with NO atmosphere. Staff short changed me on a couple of occasions.
