Nice pub with seating outside the front giving a bit of a sea view. Ale a bit pricy at £4 a pint.

Old style pub in upmarket part of town under the orme. Comfy furniture. Decent ales.

Marstons real ales but food a bit pricey compared to last time here 3 years ago

On a recent trip to Llandudno, we visited the Queen Victoria once. It's pleasantly situated up a side street in one of the older corners of the town. We were enticed by the setting, with tables out front, so we went in on the off chance. The beer we had (Dragon Ale) was okay but nothing special (and may well have had extra gas added).

Ok looking menu. Prices somewhat expensive for drinks. Nice enough but a bit of tlc needed here and there.

Cracking good pub from the Marstons stable,5 real ales and food to die for at reasonable prices, one of the best min Llandudno.

Quite a pleasant, comfortable pub. Reasonable choice of cask beer, although all from the Marston's stable. Food choice looked dull and predictable, and distinct lack of snacks and sandwiches on the menu. Guy ordered Carling by name and was disappointed they didn't stock it - eventually plumped for Foster's as "the best of a poor selection".

I have no complaints at all about the Victoria. Good staff and good ale. They maybe should put a few more local ales on, but I s'posed they are tied to whatever Marstons give them. Food is good 'pub food'.

i visited this pub last week being here for a few days, for god created man and a jackass created this place, prices are bang out of order for the microwave taste you can clear distinguish, a fair few carachters id stay away from this place for, ended up dropping into the less looking pub next door (the parade) but what a hell of a time i had, fantastic time atmosphere with genuine people excellent staff and would recommend to anyone who visits llandudno. thankyou to the landlord Mick,

Lovely traditional Pub. We ate here on two ocassions and the food was great. Lovely couple running it. Not a pub for those who like a younger vibe, but we all enjoyed our food.

Having visited Llandudno regularly over the past few years it has been a joy to find the Queen Victoria enjoying a new lease of life, having recently undergone a refurbishment and change of management in August 2009, the pub is well and truly basking in its former glory. The decor is fresh and clean with a nod to the traditional seaside public house which creates a warm and welcome feel for visitors to the area, as well as locals who can be found each evening popping in for their daily pint. The food and ales are the perfect treat after a stroll along the seafront, and the family atmosphere means you do not feel awkward relaxing with the whole family. Highly recommended are the entertainment evenings, a guaranteed night to remember.

THE COMMENT BY bestpubfinder IS OBVIOUSLY SUSPICIOUSLY MISLED AS MOST COMMENTS ABOUT THIS PUB SAY THAT IT IS EXPENSIVE.
I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO ADD FOLLOWING MY LAST COMMENT THE LANDLORD DID NOT CALL ME BACK REGARDING ME BEING " SHORT CHANGED "POLITE WARNING BE CAREFUL HERE BECAUSE OF POTENTIAL VIOLENT TROUBLE I DID WITNESS DURING MY VISIT ALSO SUSPECTED DRUG TAKING ON THE PREMISES.

I went to llandudno on a day out with the famliy..we went in to the queen victoria for a drink but when we saw the standard of food being served we decided to eat....it was one of the best meals i have ever had..i can honestly say i would definatley go back and visit this freindly famliy pub....and would recommend it to every one....we found it to be very reasonably priced not exspensive and the staff were really freindly...we love llandudno and are looking forward to going back soon....

MANAGER SAID HE WILL CALL ME BACK ABOUT BEING SHORT CHANGED BUT HE NEVER DID AS HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN HIS CUSTOMERS BEING RIPPED OFFB BY HIS STAFF . AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
THERE ARE CHEAPER AND BETTER PUBS OUT THERE THAT GIVE YOU YOUR RIGHT CHANGE IN LlANDUDNO
supercharge64 - 2 Sep 2009 18:44
VERY VERY EXPENSIVE HERE FOR BEER ESPECIALLY IN TODAY'S CREDIT CRUNCH CLIMATE.
STAFF ARE CHARGING DIFFERENT PRICES FOR THE SAME BEER FROM DAY TO DAY,
CHECK YOUR CHANGE AND ASK THE PRICE BEFORE YOU BUY HOW MUCH,
PHONED THE MANAGER ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND PRICE DIFFERENCE CHANGING FROM DAY TO DAY HE SAYS HE WILL CALL ME BACK,
LET YOU ALL KNOW WHAT THE OUT COME IS.
ON THE WHOLE I'M PLANING ON SPENDING MORE TIME HERE WITH FAMILY BUT I'M NOW THINKING ABOUT TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

good pub up untill november last year service food and standards have shockingly slipped when i last frequented the banks bitter had a brown, opaque, dish water look to it when i said to the barman he might want to think about changing the barrel he quickly assured me that it is sposta be like dat however when the cleaner who should of swapped with the prat clocked the pint she promptly replaced it food has deteriated i think a managment shuffle is in order the cleaner she seemed to know better than the manager and she was far more pleasent too

A well kept pub with a couple of decent real ales (which were quite pricey)and a very good menu. Food was nicely served and in very good portions.

A very nice, well kept pub with friendly staff. The beer prices were quite high and the Bewyched beer wasnt great.

Visited here whilst on holiday for an early evening Sunday drink. Friendly welcome. Bank's was on good form. Menu looked good and the portions coming out of the kitchen looked large.
