Walked past this (former?) pub last week and it was boarded up. Can't say if it's a permanent thing or a restoration project.

Pretty average sort of pub. No decent beer, but a friendly atmosphere and good banter with the locals. OK to drop in and talk about the footie and have a laugh with the hens.

Been here a few times, most recently last week. Bar is traditional and in need of a lick of paint but still good value with cheap grub as well. Seems to be up for sale/lease so unsure what will happen to it in the future.

Nice wee pub,good friendly staff and good bar lunches.
However,had to wrestle past 2 junkies in the toilets who looked like they had been injecting something.
The doorway also smelt of urine for some strange reason,are the smokers just peeing there?

Is this the bar with the bar with the famous mullet barmaid ? Last time i was here i had a cracking time

Heard some negative comments before my visit. Had a great time though and will visit next time im north.
