Greene King pub that is currently closed awaiting a new tenant.

Five real ales in great condition. A great pub to watch football.

Bit apprehensive after reading the reviews here but tried it out last week.
Such a pleasant surprise, friendly staff, price good especially as it is in the heart of Blackpool town centre. Usual run of the mill drinks available but no issue with it, a pleasure to drink. Ok the décor is due for a spruce up but try the place as I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Seems popular with bikers. Okay for a swift ale on the way to the station.

.. not worth staying in too long.

The highlight is the real ale, which is loosely sadly dedicated to Greene King. You get the occasional good guest , although last time there was only two wheat beers and Greene King IPA, nothing else.

As people have said, it's a chain-style pub and usually relatively busy, TV screens are everywhere and the bar staff aren't always the friendliest bunch, but alright by Blackpool's standards. It's worth a drink if you're a local looking for ale, but

One large room with various seating areas - in the town centre and not far from the station (north) and the shops. It is a Greene King pub but does sell guest ales - I had Taylor's Landlord and Dark Star APA - both prefectly acceptable. Friendly enough place whch does food and shows footie matches etc. Would go back.

Reasonable enough chainstyle pub with a few drinkable ales on.

Under new management. Real ale has been introduced, though the choice is limited to Greene King Products! The ales though are kept very well though despite the "poorish" choice. Landlord is working on having a guest ale or two of his own choice on in the future.
Lively bar especially pre concerts/events at the Winter Gardens.
Worth a look

Last stop before the Winter Gardens normally for us, reasonable selection of beers and decent tunes. Not sure about the decor in the toilets though

Alright on a Saturday afternoon - live game on the big screen, Sky Sports Soccer Saturday on behind the bar. Usually have decent live music in the evenings.
