this pub was a lovely pub before it closed, if you wanted crack, heroin, coke or any other 'recreational' substance, i hated it when i missed the deadline to pick up my job seekers allowance and couldnt start a tab at the bar, but one time i found some used needles in the toilet and was able to swap them for 2 pints of carling and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps which was a right result, shame the landlord was arrested as now i have to find a new dealer, and he nicked my shoes. anyways someone buy this pub (preferably someone with crack) and i can go home again to the 2nd cubicle on the left in the gents, thank you and god bless.

Easily in the worst 5 pubs in hemel, used to be just full of the dregs from the market, even had some guy trying to sell me stolen razer blades last time i was in there.

Such a shame that this lovely little den has shut down, i cant believe that it couldn't survive on the takings on all the regulars giros, and crack money, and pocket money in some cases, it was actually quite funny to walk past and see people asleep in there own filth on the "garden" seats at 11 am, and such a good location for the regulars to to nip out and "sign on" and be back in time for there next beer to be poured and waiting for them.
but at least they can all go to the full house now, and Im pretty sure they do after i went in there to borrow a pen at 11:20am and was greeted by 9 "good old boys" who were all very drunk and abusive to each other and the staff, but at least it keeps them all of the streets..... until there giros run out ....

Really sad to say this pub, i think, has been shut down by the police. Really sad about this, there are enough arseholes in hemel and this pub kept them out of all the other boozers. Please re-open Harrys !!!

Hahahahahaha ..... ahhh ahahaha , - that was the first thing i did when i walked in this pub/crack den, i first went to this pub about 7 years ago and left fast after about 1 minute after 3 gypsys tried to sell me 'lucky heather' and some stolen meat in a bag!! , this really has got to be front runner for the 'worst pub in hemel award'

Hospital at hand nearby to administer tetanus shots if you sit on the furniture in this pub. As you leave the Harry please be sure to wipe your feet.

I agree with the previous comments. At present the Lounge Bar is a bad state of disrepair and is closed. The 'Pool Side' bar is full of the dregs of society that have been barred from other pubs in the area and those who collect their giros at 2.30, meet their smack dealer at 2.40 and can be found in the gents of the Harry's at 2.55 shooting heroin into their veins. It's only saving grace is that it has a 'no children' policy.
