I had a Birthday party at the Leather Bottle 2 weeks ago and it was a lovely evening, everyone was made to feel welcome by the manager Craig, the staff were very friendly and made sure that we had a great evening. Food was nice and although the pub needed some TLC i would definately recommend the venue for future parties and nights out.

Have been using this pub on and off for over 35 years and have seen different owners come and go and of course many bar staff. Went in the other night and the bint behind the bar was chatting on her mobile phone rather than serving anyone. Naturally when she'd finished gas bagging she served the first person she came to which of course wasnt the person who was next, The disgusting regulars do not have the manners to point out someone was before them and blatantly jumped the queue. What a complete hole this has become. Sad but true of many old haunts im afraid. Glad i used it in its heyday.

Just had the office Xmas party here. Food very good and only 15.00 for three courses. Atmosphere was great and they had Wychwood Hobgoblin on hand pump which made the evening even better.

If food's your bag, then this is the place for you;
Personally i dont think the two mix, Particularly the stink of food when your'e trying to drink, A pub is a pub, not a restaurant, Although most pubs cant get by nowadays with wet sales only, they should then go for a cafe instead.

PS: Extremely cliquey, Probably the most expensive pub in the immediate area, loads of pikeys and elizabeth duke wearers.

Love this pub, it's like being in the middle of the country....not Belvedere!!!

Entertainment on Friday nights and a great restaurant adjoining the back.

Can't wait for the summer to use the beer garden!!!!

The pub is really done out nicely, but it seems a bit cliquey. Used to go there years ago, doesn't seem the same now though. It's turned into something out of Eastenders.
