Nice little pub rediscovered after 30 years. Clearly making a big effort attract customers. Part of the "Sizzlers" chain with a wide range well prepared food and real ale. Plain clean interior with some interesting metal decorations and coal effect fire. Went in on a Monday night, looked like a poker game in progress.
Although plain from outside this pub is worth a visit - quite a village feel for this area.

I really like this place and it is very good value. Stella and kronenberg are of an excellent quality. Locals look a little rough but they are no trouble.

I have just visited this pub with my partner and five month old daughter for lunch, and have been very pleasantly surprised.

The Young's Ordinary was good, the service polite and friendly, and the food, whilst unexciting, was absolutely fine.

There would seem to have been a refit and the pub is now CASQUE MARQUE. The toilets are clean and obviously well maintained. The customers were all fine and dandy.

I'd go again.

Incidentally, Northolt Village isn't a "rough" area...

My wife and I live just by the Crown and to be honest we have tried to like it but unfortunately the "regulars" on the right hand side as you walk in by the bar are oh so noisy and rude. The food is so poor. The "manageress"or who ever she is,is a right "madam".If you are not a regular she will blank you.
We now take a bus to Eastcote where we are made to feel welcome in the bars there

Absolute shite. I am not a regular/chav/rough or 'menacing'...however, I have been in a few times recently and it is fine.

Do people expect a Hoxton crowd in Northolt? It's a working class area, and not unfriendly, just take it or leave it.

whilst being at the plough decided to visit this pub after hearing about the re-fit my god what a mess they have made of it , trying to be upmarket in the wrong area with a set of rules and regulations that made me feel i was in the army again. Lots of staff about but none seem to know what they are doing and the beer was horrible , very menacing crowd in the smokers section so will definitely be giving this a miss in the future

been here twice in the last year. seems like a great little pub with good beer and food. Its a shame if the regulars really are that unfriendly as has been suggested; its nearly impossible to have a great pub in a relatively rough area. Having said that, Sunday crowd seemed fine

I agree that this pub is rough and newcomers are not welcome.

The resturant is actually quite nice and used to go here a bit when I was 18 or 19 and didn't know fear or maybe didn't give a damn enough to even notice anyone else, nowadays each time I've been have felt as if the regulars try to intimidate those who are not regulars.
