Was a good pub, ran into the ground by the most recent owners. Just reopened under new owners so hopefully this will return to being the good pub it once was.

Nice place. Friendly and good fun in there, ceilings are a bit on the low side but that's character apparently. Other half loves it in there and the beer is fine so I'm happy to spend a couple of hours in the place every now and then.

friendly local with decent food and drink what you go in a pub for.

Local pub for local people, good value "standard" food incl Sunday roast.
