Closed from 1/6/2013 was up for sale but no offers as its grade 2 listed building I doubt it will open for while.

I remember this one in the 80's when I moved over this way..used to have a collection of plates stuck all over the place and a fireplace you could almost sit in lol. Not a bad place for quite pint afternoons. Good luck to em

no real ales food was bad staff where rude locals look for fight was why would anyone go there is beyond me use to be great pub until the new owners went for a younger crowd.

so so pub, nothing spectacular, looks like its been refurbished fairly recently, lager was ok. nothing to attract customers or put them off really.

Lovely litte country style pub. Serves great food and excellent beers. Very friendly Landlord and Landlady i was made to feel like i was in my local. Nice Place.
