First visit to this pub - needed a satnav to locate but worth it. Excellent food - my wife's steak was perfectly cooked as was my monkfish. And 10/10 for the sticky toffee pudding. Good service, friendly staff. Beer was good too - Pride, Doom Bar and Andwells Gold Muddler on. Tried the latter two. My first pint of Muddler was off, but it was replaced swiftly with a Doom bar and I was told when the new cask was on, and it was worth the wait. We will return.

You have to go 1 street back from the high st to find the pub but well worthwhile to do so.
Well run and food led but the layout & vibe is not overly gastro -rather more a relaxed place with good food and drink. Good service too.
Seems they have good attention to detail. For the locals if Sunninghill it must be a great civilized local to have.
Music & decor both considered and well done- not trad pub sure, but NOT stiff and offputting.
Even on a v cold quiet night there were enough in to make a buzz.
A vv pleasant place.

Good selection of lagers and a large garden for the kids. The food is very good too.

A really lovely pub with a gorgeous beer garden and fantastic food. A bit pricey, but the food is certainly worth a try. Family run (not a brewery run pub) and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Now a gastropub/bistro of sorts. The prices are now pretty high even for this area. The food is pretty good but again relatively expensive. The decor is now awful and the music they were playing when I was last in there belonged in lift.

New management have put up: candles, arty things, price of beer, price of food.
and they've taken down: the flat-screen, customer care, atmosphere, sense of belonging.
A once favoured pub lost to designer, up-market, bistro-type sterility.

New owners as of beginning of 2008. New chef & new menu - both awesome.

Lovely pub serving great food after recent changes to menu and dining area. Staff are friendly, atmosphere good - recommend it.

What a beautiful pub! It's my favourite, I love it. Wood floors, open-plan, standard prices, nice people, lovely staff, not-too-old, not-too-young. Perfect.

Nice interior and good atmosphere. Quality beers and ales, but food could be better.

This pub is one of the nicest in the area with great food, especially the Sunday Roasts. It has a separate bar and eating area, great beer garden and is very welcoming. I think it has been modernised as the inside is not what you would expect, quite modern and open plan. The quiz evenings are also worth a visit.
