would take all of mrs newcastle's reviews with a massive pinch of salt. very opinionated person. i reckon she's rated boozers without having been there. sounds like she listens to hearsay, and chinese whispers

talking about doing music more often through the summer. Intimidating pub but once you get to know the locals it aint that bad. been there 4 years on and off myself and strangely comforting!

very much a locals pub but worth visiting when they have music - Donuts play there and even the oldies get up and dance!
