Called in here last Sunday with a group of cyclists. As we were quite a large group of 9, I called in advance to make sure was OK. Landlord said to get there before 12.30, which we did, and found he had had the tables laid ready for us, next to a roaring fire - much appreciated on a chilly day. The food orders came quickly and were excellent and those drinking beer were happy with what they had - a nice pint of Tiger.

Have dined at the Queens Head on numerous occasions and we have been impressed by both the varied choice menu and quality of food served. The staff have always been very obliging and work very hard to make dining at the Queens Head a pleasurable experience.

We recently visited the Queens Head at Billesdon. They were full to capacity and everyone was congratulating (the young couple that has apparently turned this pub around) on the food, drink, and service they had received. Listening to every ones comments the four of us decided to see what the food was like Our steaks were cooked to perfection and delicious homemade chips not frozen the same with the onion rings. The duck was out of this world and the vegetables were plentiful and perfectly cooked the whole experience was wonderfull and we will deffinatly be back. Well done to the young couple and keep up the good work

We have been coming to the queens for our meals for a few months now. The food is always of a very high standard and the new landlord and lady are always very welcoming.
The atmosphere is wonderful and the beer is excellant. I have not got one bad thing to say about this pub.

Can't comment on the beer/ evening atmosphere, but recently had one of the worst Sunday lunches ever eaten in a pub. It was difficult to tell which roast meat was which, but the veggie option was simply pathetic. Just the same veg as given with the roast but in a separate dish with a measley dribble of some unidentifiable sauce, I was expecting vegatables in a nice creamy sauce with crispy top of breadcrumbs/ cheese or something like that. It was dreadful. The poor young waitress asked if we had enjoyed our lunch and when I said "NO" she didn't say anything, just took my still full plate away.
