I regularly drink here with friends on a Monday night and have always been served a decent pint. On the one occaision it tasted off, the barman replaced it without question. The staff, and "Moses the Dog" are all very friendly and welcoming. The overall atmosphere is of a well run, friendly local, and the food is great too!

At last, a great landlord and landlady. Mike and Nicky are great hosts, they have great beer and fabulous food.
Go on spoil yourself and give it a try.

Been going here for Sunday lunch quite a while now and its nomally pretty good, but we will not be returning after last week. We were fobbed off with meat that was thin, tough and obviously not freshly cooked, and instead of the usual giant yorkshire pudding we appeared to have the remnants of one split between three of us. The fact was clearly not lost on the waitress who, after serving it, promptly vanished never to be seen again. If the kitchen had run out of something, they should have said so; I do not expect leftovers at that price.

I have recently stumbled across this little gem in the outskirts of bath.
Sunday roasts for about 8 quid (i believe food is served all week lunchtimes and evenings too)
good value for money, will be back again.

Visited this pub one evening for a game of pool. Was driving so didnt get to sample the beer, but seems a friendly pub and good service.

Great Pub! Very friendly management & locals. You forgot to mention the Pool competition that the landlord very kindly conducts most Friday nights! The fact that the jukebox can play pretty much ANYTHING you want as it searches the internet is one of my favourite features (haven't seen another one like it) and it's not often you find a pub where the pool table is only 50p a game! - Highly recommended
