It's a sizzler pub with two real ales, pint was ok but food was average.

Largish pub, didn't try the food. Thwaites Bitter and Wainwright on cask, the Wainwright was just about okay but far from the best pint of it.

traditional fish and chips but no mushy peas what is the world coming to, plus ask the staff what sort of fish it is and they havent a clue laughable.

One of my colleagues drinks in here and whenever he meets someone at work he doesn't like he says, "How long would he last in the Devonshire Arms?". Quite.

If you are a stranger think twice about going in alone....might as well put a sign on the door "Are You local???" creepy place
