The Newshouse was a unique and wonderful thing...this place is a plastic Aussie nightmare. I'm sure any Aussies visiting the Newshouse would have loved it. Why do we destroy our own culture?

Tend to go here to watch the Football on the weekend and it's quiet enough to get a seat (thank god!) The bar staff are always friendly and the food is smashing!

I have never seen this place half as full as when it used to be the Newshouse. Then it was snided out every night.
This place is the 3rd best Ozzy bar in town and there's only one other!!

very good for watching sports in with lots of big screens. Now called the "Up and Under" which means all the quirky Aussie bits and bobs have gone which is a shame.....

This pub is nothing special. Plenty of better oprtions in the surrounding area.

Just to update you - there are 3 pool tables. Service is friendly, the beer is always well chilled and the sports events are guaranteed to be manic!
