Sadly the property owners have put the building up for sale. As a result Flex closed on Sunday 13th January 2013, forever.
The landlord is opening a new bar in St Helens.

More new owners are trying to revive Flex which is re-opening on Wed 31st August 2011 - Fingers crossed for a long life.

Sadly the wonderful new owners arrived too late to save this pub.

Still a very friendly place with great entertainment.

Ive been going to this pub for 8 years. Its is the only pub in St.Helens that I feel comfortable in! Ive got many great memories in that place. It isant for everyone but if your open minded then I sugest you come along and join in the fun. Im there most Friday nights having a sing a long on the karaoke with my singing partner, Colin. I love you Flex..my life would be so different if I had never found out about you! Ive made many friends there who ive stayed good friends with for many years. I rate this pub very highly xxx
