Um this is ok. It doesn't pretend to b anything its not. it is full of scallies. the doormen r awful, its hard to get a drink and u may get one poured down u . however is gr8 for a dance jst keep ur wits abt u

This Bar is ok for a drink and to meet with friends in the day, though there does seem to be a problem with having enough ingredients for food as they always seem to be out of whatever I or one of my friends wants.
At Night it's completely different and becomes a hub of activity at weekends. this makes it very crowded and difficult to get a drink there are also plenty of fights if you like that sort of thing

Good pub in the day and anytime when they don't have doormen which to be honest ruin a perfectly good bar, maybe the management should take note of the people of macclesfield who are right in saying that they employ mindless thugs instead of professional doormen!!! could be busy everyday, instead of just saturday, when they decide to let in more of there own kind!!!

Don't think anyoone goes in here any more, always deserted. People only go in if they have been banned from everywhere else. Avoid like the plague.

Many a random nite have i spent in the tree..... many a scally boy have I pulled on the dance floor (and into the toilets...). Your best goin in spoons first,and gettin drunk in there (its well cheaper).... then makin ur way to the tree. The bouncers are safe if ur safe wit them and the lads in cheshire fast food are chillers (just be careful wot u order innit!)

Food isn't fantastic quality, although it's not bad value for money.
Don't have anything in the way of beer to offer, and the clientele tend to be scum.
You'd be much better off visiting Jar Bar just 100 yards down the hill and experiencing a good pint of Hydes.

Litten tree can be a good night out, Saturdays are much busier than Fridays. Although Bouncers are not very friendly and there are far too many young girls that need to show respect to there elders...even though I am only 20, I feel old..

i don't go near the littern tree anymore due to the fact that at 24 i am made to feel past it due to fact that most of the Friday and Saturday night regulars are just out of nappies.

For daytime it's not bad. The food's alright, and it's got a nice quiet atmosphere.
Night times are poor. People flock to it like flies round the proverbial, but if you've done one night in there, you've done them all. Nothing changes.

I think the litten tree is over rated AND over priced. It was when i moved away from macc and still is everytime i go back to visit. i prefer to go elsewhere... i'll get more for my money!

Ooooo Been watching the tribute bands live @ litten! I thought Zu2 where fantastic (didn't Bonio look great!) bring on The Craig David tribute!! hope he brings our Kes along, that would be Proper Bo! Long live the Litten so I can get a reeeeewind!

good venue, good location, thats all i will say. It was better when it was the Majestic Cinema.... oh sorry, most of the regulars wont remember that, they are only 14 :)

yo its the hottest pub out in mac and got the coolest doormen but how can i dance if i have to wear chrch or school shoes ,if they play a hot track i wanna breakdance but need the wright clothing to do so,they should at least let us in with sneakers on a sunday night .

The class of this place was perfectly demonstrated as we walked past on Saturday night - there was a girl barfing up in the corner of the pub, not even bothering to go outside, in front of a small but appreciative crowd of mates.
Go to the White Lion or Kusch Bar instead, you won't regret not going here.
