The food is good value, but that is about all it has going for it. Not particularly friendly, and twice when I've visited I've been served lager at room temperature.

popped in here for halfway refreshments during a country walk. lovely food, good value for money, perfectly cooked steak and reasonable drinks too. overall v happy with this experience and will return as seems to be fairly child friendly

Good god, reading the review ladybaby the place sounds more like a creche.

What is happening to the great british pub. All very depressing.

Went down to the Greyhound for dinner with the family, Staff very warm and welcoming, Great choice on menu and drinks table menu also. Assistant manager Will looked after the kids extremely well giving them the kids fun packs while waiting for the food which was lovely. The food was extremely generous and great value for money! We had desserts and again Will looked after the kids by supplying them with balloons with the kids desserts which the kids loved! The pub has many events advertised which look great and may be worth giving a go! We had just finished our meal and the kids had seen the pub have a free bouncy castle at weekends so i asked Will and he went to the trouble of getting it back out for my kids again!! Such a great time at this pubs and such a pleasant young man. Would recommend this pub to anyone! Great value great prices!

Pub looks so inviting from the outside. Inside a bit soulless. The wife and I had a 'Hungry Horse' menu meal but it was nothing special.

What a complete dive.

I would not eat or drink here if my life depended upon it.

As for the customers, less said the better.

Avoid at all costs.

Had the best pint of Greene King IPA in a long time. Bar Staff friendly and informative. The Hungry Horse menu is still good value and they know how to cook a good steak. My only gripe is I wish they'd wipe the tables, they can get very sticky

Nice big pub with plenty of seating. A few tables outside too if the weather is nice. Food is average but very cheap and very large portions as with other Hungry Horses. Lots of locals but very friendly.
