When we popped in here early one saturday evening the place was packed.
Football was on the telly and it had a really good atmosphere.

There is one good thing about this pub, food is served all day. Sorry, two good things, prices are about 6.50.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of bad things to mention.
Only Tribute and the ubiquitous Doom Bar to choose from at 3.35 a pint.
The tide was in in the gents. The urinal trough was overflowing. Mind you - it did have a good head on it!!!
That wasn't the only crap. The piped music (rap with a c), not even by original artists, was far too loud.
The food at least was edible, although the home-made chips had a dry powdery taste.
Overall, what with the whiff from the bogs, the deafening "music" and expensive "ale" I was glad when it was time to leave.

I have recently been manhandled (literally picked up and thrown out of the pub by a bouncer) because I put money in the juke box and it did not play my music. I asked for my money back and the landlady (nice lady that she is) made the bouncers pick me up and throw me out. I am a law abiding citizen who has never been in the trouble with the police and I was carried out by bouncers for asking for my pound back - Avoid at all costs - I have never been so humiliated - the police say they can throw anyone out without any reason, so they cannot be prosecuted. In my book what they have done is may only be a pound, but how many people are being taken for a mug. Stay clear!!!

Excellent quayside pub with good beer and food. Given its location I was amazed at how cheap the food was given its quality (and quantity). Enjoy this one while you can as its proximity to the marina makes it a prime chain pub target if the landlord ever decides to sell.

No nonsense pub, alright for a pint or 2. The sheer volume of St George's cross flags and bunting is a little unnecessary!

Came in here before the Saints game today. Had Tribute which was nice, also available were 6X, GK IPA (off) and one other. Pool only 70p now. Lots of military related photos on the walls.

Reasonable for a pre match pint.

Always found the Navy a warm, friendly and welcoming pub. The beer is good but maybe a little pricey, the food is bog standard pub grub, value for money and very enjoyable.
The staff are great, Landlord is ex army and it shows, but he is friendly, polite and very proud of the service he provides and the pub he runs. The Land lady is a dynamo, she is pleasent and funny, a fantastic hostess!
Very busy at the weekends and don't even bother bank holidays and Sunday nights unless you love noise and a crowd, other times its a great place to mix with locals, servicemen and tourists who all manage to have a drink side by side in a good atmosphere.
The pub was actually off tottenham court road dickhead!!

Had a good pint of Bombardier, a nice game of pool (1 a game) and some nice food. Pleasant pub but nothing extraordinary.

Went to Plymouth this weekend, ended up going in here for some real ale with 8 others. Only problem was that of all the real ale taps none had any real ale in them. Surely at a weekend, especially over bank holiday there would have been some.
