The Crown Inn, Christchurch

Just wanted to say that this is a very pleasant place to spend an evening with family and friends, well-behaved children are welcome, we often take our three boys there for a meal, children's portions are available on certain dishes, the staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is good. Our children do not run around the pub when we go out, there is a time and a place for that, we sit, enjoy our meals and have a pleasant conversation. It is also a nice place to go and have a drink, they do not encourage people to stand at the bar, but to me that makes it better, much more accessible to everyone, have been to pubs in the past where it takes about ten minutes to find a space at the bar or had to ask locals to move in order to get a drink or pay. All in all the manager is very nice as are the staff and it is extremely well priced, certainly doesn't break the bank. Best pub in the village.
