Visited this pub recently, food horrible, the chilli beef was recycled, tasted like minced beef in gravy! and expensive. Staff couldn't care less if they served you or not, in particular the dreadful old guy who is trying to be a rasta. Better food at the neighbouring pub The Royal George, which has the same wonderful view, but without the attitude.

The Royal George Inn, Appledore
This is far superior food than its neighbour The Beaver. Staff also actually seem to want to serve their customers too!
