The Ridley Arms, Stannington

We were looking for a pub midway between Haggerston Castle, where some friends were staying, and Chesterle Street. We looked at the review posted in 2005 and were almost tempted not to book up. However, we did and have been well pleased with the result. There were 8 of us in total including 2 young teenagers with a meal booked for 8pm. By 9pm we had all been served with piping hot food by pleasant staff who couldn't do enough for us. The portions were plentiful and cooked to perfection. Don't take our word for it.
