The Toll Gate Inn, Manchester

great clean, friendly and welcoming pub opposite the trafford bar metro. very popular with man utd fan esp on match days - good banter with no trouble and no drunking louts. the new management have increased the match day bar staff from 8 to 10 bar staff so the waiting time is minimal plus there is also an outside bar and delicious bbq. now open for breakfast mon-frid. great pub grub served 7 days a week plus new juke box has been installed with all the latest tunes (inc man utd songs), pool table and dart board. there is a charge for the car park on match days and i found the parking attendant very friendly and accomodating. highly recommend this pub if you are visiting on match days or popping in for a drink and/or meal.
