The Firefly, Bourne End

After my first visit to this pub (and a pleasant experience it was as well) I went back their on Sunday for lunch at it was superb.
The food was fresh and the roast spuds were the best I have had in a long time (and I am a very fussy eater when it comes to eaten out)
The food was Great value and the London pride was excellent.
My wife also complemented the very nice selection of wines that were available.
The local's were very friendly and I had quite a good bit of football banter with them.
I was also informed by the friendly bar staff that the pub is due for a refirb, which will complement this friendly village pub.
I will definitely be returning to this pub in the very near future.

The Firefly, Bourne End

got of the the train sunday and popped in for a pint , saw the roast dinners comming out and they looked scrummy .

ordered 2 roast dinners and they were fantastic , the staff were very polite and the beer was good . The beer price was a tad high but probably in line with all the other local pubs .

really enjoyed our time at this pub and had a nice chat with the barmaid and some of the locals who made you feel really wellcome .
its prob in need of a decor update but we were told that a refirb was due in september .. so jobs a good un .

would def go back there agai
