The Leazes Inn, Newcastle

great food, good beer and friendly staff. Gets packed on NUFC days as it is a 5 minute walk from the ground but has a big screen and about half a dozen others scattered about so you get to see the game wherever you are. 3/4 size snooker table is great (you will need to book it)although �1 for a game of pool is a bit steep.
Beer prices are about average for this type of pub and karaoke/quiz nites are great fun. A "Toon" pub without the aggro!
