The Ranelagh, Bounds Green

I moved to Bounds Green in February 2006 and The Ranelagh was a happy find (The Washington on England's Lane used to be my local). It has a great selection of beer (yes, they're expensive but they're good quality) and wine too, including a great Palena Sauvignon Blanc.

The bar staff are actually very friendly and the pub has a relaxed atmosphere. I had dinner there on Saturday, which was great and by NO means expensive.

Also, as a non-smoker, I'm really glad to not have to go home at the end of a good evening stinking of smoke. To find a pub with a decent no-smoking section, which they police fantastic.

I can also highly recommend Kebabish near the tube for a post-Ranelagh kebab :)
