The Hope Hotel, Southend on Sea
have visited this pub many times. always a friendly welcome by owners. Sundays is buzzing and Les the DJ has a brilliant range of music - loved the blues session Les. Lee Pankhurst plays alternate Fridays, a superb guitarist and lover of Hendrix. you must have more live music especially after last Saturday an Elvis tribute "what a babe" lovely hotel rooms and good value too. keep up the good work.

The Hope Hotel, Southend on Sea
came back for a visit recently. Still a good pub for a night out. The hotel is brilliant value at �25 per person per night including a cooked breakfast.
Weekend music still great with Les and a new DJ Tony. Should improve on more live music though. Apart from that Anne Marie and George give a good service.I still rate this pub 9 out of 10. Sybil
