The Captain Kidd, Wapping

As a American who lives half my time in London and the other in Chicago, hospitality is important to me. It is my opinion that this is one heck of a hospitable pub.

The layout, the old warehouse decor and the ambience is wonderful. The view of the Thames is a million dollars. The ale here was very nice.

The best thing about the place though is the couple who run it. It was my pleasure to meet Mikayla and Tony, who were charming, genial and interesting people. They seem to know all of their customers names and bring in real nice friendly customers too which obviously makes a difference to me.

A real credit to London this place. I'll be back next time I'm in London
